Bob Ivins is a tenkara guide in North Carolina.
From Bob:
“I come from thirty years of salt and fresh water fly fishing. Three years ago a client booked a trip for a couple days and brought a Tenkara USA rod. He insisted that we use the rod. We did and I have been fishing Tenkara ever since. What a wonderful experience. As a guide it has been a fresh new and relaxing way to go to the mountain. I find teaching Tenkara a real joy. Whether an experienced western fly fisherman or a beginner Tenkara is a perfect way to go to these mountain streams that we fish.
