Dave offers full day & half day, guided Tenkara “learn & fish” fly fishing trout fishing trips on a number of excellent trout rivers & streams here in the Oregon. There is no better way to learn the art and craft of Tenkara fly fishing than to actually DO it! He believes a guided angling experience should give you back more than what you pay for the service. You work hard for your money and you should expect the best.
Dave is author of several books on Tenkara including: Tenkara Fly Fishing: Insights & Strategies; Tenkara Kebari: Traditional & Tenkara-Inspired Trout Patterns; and Advanced Tenkara Fly Fishing. He uses Tenkara USA rods and lines along with authentic Tenkara Kebari patterns that you get to use during the trip. These guided trips are great for both new and experienced fly anglers.
